Strawberry Fieldz Wedding Marquee in Focus
Welcome again to Strawberry Fieldz blog. This time we are taking a look at a wedding marquee and showing you the steps we take to help make sure we understand your needs and provide a marquee that meets them exactly. There is nothing worse than a marquee too small for your needs, but equally too big and you start to lose atmosphere. We advise all our customers on what size will suit the amount of guests coming. If your guest amount falls slightly above size, we usually recommend you go for smaller than bigger. This helps to maintain the atmosphere and avoid you spending money on empty space!
This is a photo of a marquee we supplied for our customers Andy and Nikkita in August 2019 for their wedding. We met with them over a year ago at their chosen venue to fully understand their needs and advise on the most suitable sized marquee for them. We agreed on a 6x18m marquee with a 3x6m side extension for a chill out area. When it comes to Marquee Hire in Luton, we ended up supplying an extra marquee and entrance walkway due to the bad weather predicted at the last minute. This kind of flexibility we feel is essential to good customer service as we want your big day to be perfect and being able to adapt and change things where needed is where we set ourselves apart from other suppliers.
At our site meeting we discussed the different flooring and drape options and ideas for lighting. We have several options available which give a totally different look to the marquee. Andy and Nikkita ended up choosing our pleated drape option which is really pretty and creates a really luxurious feeling inside the marquee.
Andy and Nikkita also wanted a dance area as well as a DJ and Band. A trusted Marquee Hire in Milton Keynes, We created a stage at one end of the marquee with the dancefloor in front of it. We also installed up-lighting which creates a nice subtle effect and can be sound activated if required. We also arranged the DJ and band for them as we have our own in-house DJ and work with many local bands in the area so we are able to confidently recommend bands and artists that we know personally which ensures a great event and happy customers!
